Presenting signs and symptoms of CLL
The indolent nature of CLL means that the early stages of the disease can present few or mild symptoms, and that these may be overlooked by the patient. In asymptomatic patients, the disease is often diagnosed following a routine blood count. Symptoms that can indicate CLL in some patients are listed below, but notably these symptoms are also typical of many other illnesses.
